Armed Robbery in Scunthorpe

Man used fire-arm in a local shop on Friday night

 

An armed robbery took place in  Scunthorpe on Friday night.

At 8:26pm a man went into a shop on Wells Street and used a fire-arm which smashed several bottles.

He left the shop empty handed but the 40 year old man who worked in the shop received slight injuries from the broken glass.

A man in his twenties has been arrested  in connection with the incident.
