66,000 households in Lincolnshire could see drop in tax benefits

Those claiming council tax benefits in Lincolnshire are being asked to prepare for a shakeup.

The responsibility for paying out the benefits will be handed over to Lincolnshire's District Councils.

From April next year they will decide who gets help with their council tax.

But with a 10% cut to the budget for support, they are warning up to 66,000 households could lose out.
