Nearly 500 miles of cables will run under the North Sea, coming ashore at Bicker Fen.

They will then go below East Lindsey, Boston, North Kesteven and South Holland, providing electricity to over one million homes.

Last night North Kesteven became the third Council to support it.

But East Lindsey still have reservations over how it would affect the Lincolnshire Wolds.

The Housing Secretary who will make a final decision.
