Alexandra, Karis and Courtney met in London after a series of auditions. Their name originates from the word ‘Stoosh’ meaning expensive, but as they are an all-girl group ‘she’ was added. Although their debut single ‘Betty Woz Gone’ failed to be a hit last October, Stooshe are back with their first release of the year having been named in the Sounds of 2012 poll. ‘Love Me’ features the rapping of Travie McCoy best known as the lead vocalist with the band Gym Class Heroes. He was born in Geneva, New York and is also infamous for once dating Katie Perry. Stooshe’s will be appearing at the Isle Of Wight Festival in June and their debut album will be released later this year.
