One Direction - One ThingZayn, Niall, Harry, Liam and Louis were formed after all 5 singers failed to impress on the X Factor. It was suggested by Nicole Scherzinger they form a boy band. As a group One Direction made it through the judges houses stage and later went on to finish 3rd in the live final behind Rebecca Ferguson and Matt Cardle despite performing with Robbie Williams singing ‘She’s The One’. They later went on to sign a £2 million record deal and began work on their debut album. They have already released 2 books, ‘Forever Young’ and ‘Dare To Dream’. Their debut single ‘What Makes You Beautiful’ reached Number 1 last September and their second song ‘Gotta Be You’ reached Number 3. This is the 3rd single from their album ‘Up All Night’. One Direction’s 21-date sell-out UK tour began on 21st December.
