NME Award nominations are announced

Arctic Monkeys are have been nominated in seven categories at the NME awards.

Noel Gallagher is named in 4 categories including 'Best Album' and 'Best Solo Artist'. He'll also be presented with his prize for 'Godlike Genius'.

Muse, Lana Del Rey , Kasabian, Florence + the Machine are all up for three awards, while The Vaccines, Hurts,  and The Horrors are named in 2 categories.

Coldplay are nominated as 'Worst Band' and 'Worst Album'.

The winners will be announced on February 29th.
