Marlon Roudette - New Age

29 year-old Marlon was born in London, but moved at a young age with his mum to the Caribbean Island of Saint Vincent where he spent much of his childhood before returning to London at the age of 12. In his late teens Marlon was a production assistant on the film Pirates Of The Caribbean’. His step mum is 80’s and 90’s singer Neneh Cherry after his dad re-married. In 2005 Marlon had a top 20 hit with the duo Mattafix on the song ‘Big City Life’. After going solo he recorded ‘New Age’ which has been a hit all over Europe spending 8 weeks at Number 1 in Germany. ‘New Age’ was co-written by Guy Chambers, famous for his many hits with Robbie Williams, including ‘Angels’. Marlon’s debut album will be titled ‘Matter Fixed’ and includes a track called ‘True To Yourself’ featuring Finley Quaye.
