Ed Sheeran grew up in Suffolk and scored his first hit with ‘The A Team’ in 2011. Since then he’s scored 2 Number 1 singles with ‘Sing’ and ‘Thinking Out Loud’ along with 2 worldwide selling albums ‘+’ and ‘X’. ‘Plus’ has sold over 2 million copies in the UK while ‘Multiply’ is close to 3 million. Since being named Best British Breakthrough act in 2012 Ed has won 4 Brit Awards, 2 Grammy Awards and 2 Ivor Novello awards. He’s also nominated for Songwriter of the Year’ at the 2017 Grammy’s in February for penning Justin Bieber’s ‘Love Yourself’. Both new songs will be part of Ed’s 3rd album titled ‘Divide’ set for release on March 3rd. Ed says he wrote ‘Shape Of You’ with Rihanna in mind but soon realised the lyrics wouldn’t suit her. On it’s release ‘Shape Of You’ quickly went to Number 1 in over 70 countries on I tunes. ‘Castle On The Hill’ is about his home village of Framlingham in Suffolk.
