Ed and Adele share the honours at the Brit Awards
Adele and Ed Sheeran won 2 prizes each at the 2012 Brit Awards.
Adele added the trophy for best British female and British album to add to the six Grammy Awards she also won.
Ed Sheeran won best British male and British breakthrough as Coldplay were crowned best British group for a record third time.
The best British Single was awarded to One Direction with their Number 1 'What Makes You Beautiful'.
Blur were awarded a lifetime achievement award and performed a medley of their biggest hits at the ceremony.
