As part of the first ever Blue Cross Week, Grimsby animal hospital is holding an activity weekend to raise vital funds.

Saturday 7th October 10-4
Hospital Tours every hour from 10.30 £2 per person

11am Family talk on Keeping Children Safe Around Dogs £3 per person - join Helen and her puppet Goldie to learn about dog behaviour and how to approach and interact with dogs safely.

1pm Talk on history of Blue Cross & Grimsby animal hospital £3 per person - learn how it built from Our Dumb Friends League, to helping animals during world wars and how Grimsby developed into what it is today.

Buy tickets in advance from hospital reception on online via our just giving page, or just turn up on the day.

Dog & Cat items on sale, colouring in station and name cards will also be at the hospital on the day.

Sunday 8th October 10-12 Charity dog walk, Cleethorpes Beach Tickets £5 per dog/group includes a bag of doggy treats
Starting point, car park outside Jungle Zoo/ Oriental Express.

**Blue Cross has been helping sick and injured pets in Grimsby since it first opened a hospital in 1959 on Cleethorpes Road, providing free veterinary treatment where owners can’t afford private veterinary fees. Last year, Grimsby animal hospital treated over 7,000 animals.**
