We are now recruiting for a wide range of volunteering roles in the force.

If you want to provide a valuable service to your local community and be involved in policing you can apply to be a Special Constable or Volunteer Police Community Support Officer.

These challenging and rewarding roles will allow you to:

We will provide you with full training at our police headquarters.  On completion of training you get paired with a mentor (PC or PCSO) at your local station, where you will carry out full uniformed patrol in support of the local teams.

Special constables

We receive applications at any time. Consideration for a place on training courses is subject to application deadline dates for each intake.

Apply by 29 April 2016 to be considered for our June 'weekend' intake.*Deadline extended to Midnight on Sunday 8th May 2016.

Interviews to be held on Saturday 14th May at HQ, Nettleham, Lincoln.

Training takes place on weekends only on a fortnightly basis.

The dates of the June weekend training are:

Apply by 19 August 2016 for our October 'intensive' intake.  Training starts on a Saturday, followed by two full weeks (Mon-Fri) and three weekends.
